Almost 800 km of dirt and backroads along the BC side of the border, from the Nighthawk crossing to Roosville. Ride it in either direction. Hop on or off wherever it suits your trip.

What you get

  • One GPX file, Border Patrol V3 [GAIA].gpx, built in Gaia GPS
  • 133 tracks, including the main line plus paved connectors, bypasses and alternates
  • 95 waypoints: 28 camping spots, 19 fuel stops, plus food, coffee, beer, a moto shop, hospitals, gates, tunnels and viewpoints
  • Tracks colour-coded by surface so you know what's coming

Difficulty ratings

  • D-0 Green: paved
  • D-1 Blue: smooth unpaved
  • D-2 Red: rough unpaved
  • D-3 Purple: spicy. More technical, or something on it that's trickier for some rider and bike combos

I'm not going to guess your skill level. You know you. Ride what you're comfortable with.

Where it goes

Osoyoos, Rock Creek, Greenwood, Grand Forks, Christina Lake, Rossland, Salmo, Creston, Yahk and on to Roosville. Towns are spread out down here, but there's fuel, food and a bed often enough. Spend your money in the small independent spots. The more riders show up and spend, the better it is for all of us.
