Surface:
Gravel the entire route.

Distance:
80km – 2,400m vert gain/loss

Sevices:
None along route. Available in Slocan and Valley and Fauquier.

Access:
From Fauquier or Highway 6

Koch Creek Pass

Heading up and over either direction is a local dual-sport rite of passage. Heading West you have to climb ‘that step, loose bit’. A long uphill climb, it can be a challenge for a loaded or bigger bike. Difficult to get going again if you have to start in the middle. Always good to have a few extra hands to get you moving again.
